“Support of senior business executives is essential if a head of diversity is to succeed in an organisation.”

Balance in top management
A good balance between male and female qualities in top management is much more than a matter of “equal rights”.
Men and women have their own specific qualities. On a personal level but also on a business level. The qualities of the one are not better or worse than those of the other. They complement each other in many aspects. Dealing with risks, the market- and product approach, leadership, are just a few examples of aspects that they approach differently.
Organisations with a stable balance in male and female qualities in their board and management anticipate more effectively on change. Anticipate better and therefore realise better business results. Studies of Catalyst (“Bottom Line”) and McKinsey (“Women Matter”) demonstrate this.
